Amplifying expert voices when science is in the headlines
WHO WE ARE
The All Ireland Science Media Centre is an independent press office working to increase the breadth, depth and quality of science reporting across the island of Ireland.
We provide journalists with timely access to expert commentary on the news of the day. Our rapid reactions respond to breaking news and legislative developments, while our expert roundups provide expert analyses of new research relevant to audiences across the island of Ireland.
Journalists
Registered journalists receive timely quotes from local experts on breaking news, legislative developments, and embargoed research.
Researchers
Researchers in our database are invited to provide commentary on new research and topical issues, which we send to journalists and make publicly available.
Press Officers
As an independent organisation, we are genuine partners in press officers’ efforts to help experts engage with the media when it matters most.
